Welcome to our website. If you are a fan of Thoroughbred breeding and racing or are looking to acquire a horse for another aspect of equine ownership, please contact us at any time. Our stallions are also available for Quarter Horse, Paint or Appaloosa breeding. Cool Spring Farm, owned by A. B. Brewster is located near Bowden, Alberta.

At Cool Spring Farm we strive to raise ever better horses. It has been a journey of nearly fifty years. Breeders are like farmers in every way – we are optimistic and look forward to next year – to the next crop of babies, to the next successful runner, to have faith in the future. In 2009 we received the TOBA International Breeders Award, the epitome of a life long endeavor.

We are proud to be part of an industry that welcomes and encourages people with a passion for racing. We will continue to try to raise “a better one”. And most of all, to provide a future for these wonderful animals who give us their trust, and for the people who chose to own and breed Thoroughbreds.

Many performance and rodeo horses have started their post race careers at Cool Spring Farm – events include dressage, show jumping and rodeo. Our horses come first and their care and well being is paramount. We celebrate their successes and are grateful to the team that assists us at the farm, at the track and beyond.
